Mercato delle Occasioni is a dynamic company born in 2011 thanks to San Fior store (in Treviso province). Since December 2013, the new Susegana Maxi Store (Treviso province) has opened with its 1500 square meters of exhibition, where the previous three years activity experience has been enhanced as a winning card to offer to our customers a wider and interesting environment, with a wide range of items and products to get in on the ground floor.

Since June 2014 all the whole activity is based in Susegana.

The groundbreaking commercial approach and the development of data-processing supports, the high professional level of our staff, the quality of the available items as well as the positive purchasing conditions are our success basis and allow the whole satisfaction of tens of thousands of customers who trusted us during all these years and which renew their trust day by day.

Our team consists of Thomas, Ilaria, Maila and Sara. We are young, smart, lively and very close-knit guys, we work together to get the best for our place Mercato delle Occasioni, which is for us like being at home.

Hi everyone!

My name is Thomas, I am 28 years old, but in April I will be 29. I live in Collalto, a little town Treviso province, surrounded by the green hills of Prosecco DOCG. I am the “art director” of Mercato delle Occasioni, my experience started as an employee during the year 2013 up to achieve the business purchase during the year 2019.

Just after my graduation, I joined to be take part of the vintage world, a choice totally in contrast with my school career, but which gives me a lot of satisfactions. Getting up in the morning and being in the right mood to work thanks to the motivating atmosphere, as well as the constant relationship with people, the possibility to enjoy their past and the history of each items…all these feelings are priceless emotions in my opinion.

My nickname is "crazy traveler" since I love to travel around the world, I very much like to discover interesting new places, to learn the traditions and to meet the locals.

I am used to take part into guided tours in order to find out how a local product is produced and to get the possibility to collect and buy items to be sold in our shop.

I am very proud to be part of a only WOMEN team, always happy and smiling! They are the true soul of the shop and they are always able to gift a smile to everyone, me first of course, but above all to all our customers, even the most desperate. 😊

I am Maila, I am 26 years old and I live in Vittorio Veneto, right at the foot of the Venetian Prealps in a quiet place with my family.

I graduated from the technical Institute for tourism in Conegliano. During the fifth year exams I started working at the Mercato delle Occasioni.

From that moment an unknown world has opened up to me. I have been working on it for almost 4 years and I could not wish a better job. You learn a lot and never get bored. Our regular customers know that we are a bit crazy.

I love travelling. As soon as I can I pack my backpack and run to the airport, excited to start a new experience. Knowing different cultures gives me the opportunity to see fantastic places and interact with the locals, follow their habits is priceless.

And it's just one of the many reasons why I love to travel and get to know the world.

Many of the items we have in the shop come from different countries and finding out how they got to us is super fun.

I love sports, being outdoors, cooking and obviously eating.

Hi everyone, I'm Sara and I'm the last one who joined this wonderful staff.

I am almost 25 years old and I live in a small village called Tarzo.

I started this journey on February 1st, 2019 right after another work experience in a cafeteria.

You are rightly wondering, what does this have to do with a flea market? The answer is that I still don't know, but curiosity as well as the desire to learn and always see new and particular things keeps me particularly attached to our shop.

It’s not a simple shop, for us it is like home, a space where we can express ourselves 100%, we are very proud of the deep bonds we daily share. I also believe that one of our greatest strength is the contagious joy that keep us together and which makes the conversation with our customers more pleasant, so what are you waiting for? I live in Vittorio Veneto, from a very close-knit and animal lover family, I am an enthusiastic and creative person thanks to my mum, that’s the reason why I decided to attend IPSIA school in Conegliano and to get the graduation as fashion and clothing technician. This department ist obviously a must-have cornerstone of our store!

Do you know that we can count hundreds of phone calls in a single day in order to deliver clothes??! Coming back to me, in 2011, after some experience as a sales assistant in a clothing store, the manager decided to rush me into a whole new world with the opening of the Mercato delle Occasioni based in San Fior! I already visited some shops like that, since my mum is a big supporter of this type of business. Over the years, I gained the necessary experience and passion that I passed on to all my colleagues with whom I worked with, a feeling that I still share.

I saw customers getting married, having kids, watching them grow over the years, and we’ve also been spoiled by sweets, coffee and all kinds of deliciousness right to thank and recharge us!

That’s more than a job, it’s like a big family!

My dream was to be a tailor... but after discovering this world, I will not change my job anymore!

Hi everyone, I'm Delia and I'm the youngest of this crazy but beautiful team.

I am 20 years old and I live in Santa Lucia di Piave.

I graduated from the Alfredo Beltrame hotel institute and as soon as I finished my exams I started working at the Occasion Market.

A totally different world from the one I was used to, but no less interesting, indeed.

A sector where new things are learned every day. I love being in contact with customers, and ours are the best.

I have traveled since I was a child and I hope that this job will give me the opportunity to do it again, to visit many new places and to get to know many new cultures and learn a lot from them.
